Section 1 — Scope

Interests, followed persons, newsletters, topics and notification channels can be managed.
Disabling personalized recommendations may result in chronological or more general results. Security and contractual notices are not covered.

In the consent center, optional categories can be accepted or rejected separately and prior consent can be withdrawn.
Necessary technologies remain active. Withdrawal is prospective and deletes existing cookies where technically possible; browser deletion may also be needed.

Authorized agents must prove authority and, where required, obtain direct confirmation from the consumer. Verification data is used only to process the request and prevent fraud.
Section 8 — Timing, denial and appeal
XBN acknowledges and responds within applicable statutory time and notifies lawful extensions.
A denial states reasons and appeal method. Repetitive, manifestly unfounded or excessive requests may be denied or charged only as law permits.
Section 9 — Non-discrimination and accessibility
Exercising rights does not result in unlawful discrimination.
Permitted loyalty programs or functionally necessary differences must be transparent and proportionate. Privacy controls are provided accessibly and assistance may be requested.
